Where the best CLIENTS are hiding!

Do you know the number ONE question I am asked in every single coaching call I conduct…. ‘HOW DO I FIND MY TARGET CLIENT?’  Seriously… Every – single – coaching – call. And believe me, I have had the honor of talking with and sharing with a LOT of photographers! So that makes me really super over the top excited to announce THE NEXT WEB EVENT and I have a feeling YOU NEED IT!

 

I HAD NO INTENTION OF OFFERING THE NEXT WEB EVENT YET! I was planning to wait 4 months but you guys won’t stop emailing and asking for it and well, you got me so excited to share it with you that I’m bringing it to you early!! Our first web event was how to make the money! Now we’re going to talk about WHERE YOUR DREAM CLIENTS ARE HIDING and how to get them to call you. And guess what, Like everything I EVER share, it’s not going to cost you an arm and a leg to find your dream clients! I built my business up with zero cash roll! That means if I wanted to spend money, I first had to go make it. In hindsight, I am so grateful for this because it made me have to be creative! I couldn’t just go and buy lists or pay for advertising – I had to find other opportunities to reach my clients that required zero budget, because that’s what I had to work with.

And here’s the kicker… Years later I photographed the family of an owner of a local magazine and she offered me a full page ad, it ran for 4 months and I only got ONE booking. The way I really started getting clients, what I’m going to teach you… Those clients are still rolling in!

After the Go{4}Profit Web Event I was speechless (and that’s almost impossible to do to me). It was over all of the emails I received about how happy all of the attendees were that they’d invested in the web event. I got this email last week and I think it sums up all of the email perfectly:

Hi Leah!

Thank you so very much for sending this to me while you were traveling! Truly – that was over and above.
The 2nd and 3rd Premieres were AMAZING.  I jumped right into it – I didn’t have ANYTHING put together as far as the welcome packet, so the clients were definitely blindsided by the prices – something we have already remedied – but I still sold our “right where we want em” collection!
The collection my clients invested in did not quite double my highest sale…It’s 10 TIMES my highest sale! 
When I sat down to really think about and determine the VALUE of the collections I would offer, I was blown away! All of a sudden, it just clicked for me and I was able to reconfigure absolutely everything I had ever priced into real-life, real-time, real-value pricing.
But the psychology behind your methods and the emotional connection to the images is what secured the sale. It was not my best shoot…… Despite ME not loving them, THEY loved them. And they were so excited about the products! They have 5 girls and 2 boys, 4 of which were at the session premiere. The girls were practically giddy about my favorite products and even though Dad accused me, half-jokingly, of high-pressure sales – haha (remember they hadn’t seen the prices and they weren’t fully aware that the pricing was for one night only), their connection with me, the gorgeous products and their beautiful images still won the “battle”, if you can even call it that.
It’s amazing. In-person sales is not a new term for me. Every pro out there touts it and promotes it and encourages the photographers who have not yet discovered its potential to seek after it. But your method – your passion and the psychological (emotional is a better word) connections you foster are what make it incredibly successful and almost easy! 
So…thank you! I found your webinar through Rock The Shot and was (no offense!) pretty skeptical, considering how many times I have invested time and/or money in taking my business to the next level. But you did more than just come through for me! You have changed the entire model of my business and given me something I simply cannot put a price tag on – confidence and value in my abilities as an artist as well as a businesswoman.
Of course, I am just dying to learn how your referrals work and how you market, but I suppose I’ll be patient and wait for that web event! Or perhaps do a phone consultation if my patience runs out.

  3. Will you do another web event like the first one — how to make the money? I was not at a good point in business at the time you offered it, and now I have several bookings lined up for the next few months, and could REALLY use your insight! Pretty, pretty, pretty please!!

But I would highly suggest registering up for this web event… It’s going to be GOOD!

      • Ok, I might have to do that, and I’m really sorry (especially to myself) that I couldn’t make it to the go{4} profit event. I think you had said that you’d be recording it or let people record it or something. How would that work for the consult? And about how long do you think to allow for the call? I really need help selling myself and my work!

          The recording was only available for the attendees, it won’t ever be available any other way. But a coaching call gives you the same info but it’s just you and me so you can interrupt whenever you want and ask questions. I would suggest 1 to 2 hours. A lot of my coaching clients like to start with 2 hours. We do one hour and then one week later we do the second. This gives you a great chance to implement what we talked about the first week and then we can fine tune and expound on everything the second week. Looking forward to talking with you!!
