Meet Connor Boyack

Connor Boyack is the author of several dozen books, founder of a think tank that has changed over 100 laws, frequent public speaker, and outlaw beekeeper. 🐝 Connor is best known as author of the acclaimed Tuttle Twins book series which has sold over six million copies. The Tuttle Twins books teach kids (and their parents!) the ideas of a free society. He is also executive producer of the Tuttle Twins animated cartoon series.

A self-made entrepreneur, Connor is founder and president of Libertas Network, an association of family-facing initiatives that change hearts, minds, and laws to create a freer future. With his team he has changed over 100 laws, helped tens of thousands of kids become entrepreneurs, educated millions, and empowered families all over the world to learn about and defend the ideas of a free society.

Connor lives near Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife and two homeschooled children.

From Vision to Execution: How Connor Boyack Manages It All

When I asked Connor how he manages so many spinning plates, his answer wasn’t some complicated system—it was actually super simple: staying mission-driven and mastering delegation.

At the heart of everything he does—whether it’s Tuttle Twins or the Children’s Entrepreneur Market—is a deep passion for teaching and empowering others. That passion fuels him and keeps him focused. But here’s the thing: passion alone isn’t enough.

Connor credits much of his success to building a strong team and actually letting them do their jobs. Instead of trying to control every little detail, he surrounds himself with competent people and trusts them to take ownership. And that’s the game-changer—because when you stop micromanaging, you finally have the space to focus on big-picture vision instead of getting lost in the weeds.

Delegating: Overcoming the Short-Term Pain for Long-Term Gain

Let’s be real—delegation is hard. No one is going to do it exactly the way you would, and that can feel frustrating at first. Connor admitted that handing things off wasn’t easy, but over time, he realized that letting his team take ownership actually led to better results. When we stop gripping so tightly and trust others to step up, we create space for real growth—both for them and for us.

And this isn’t just a business lesson. Whether it’s teaching your kids to fold laundry (even if it’s not perfect) or training a new hire, the short-term effort of coaching and guiding is what leads to long-term freedom. The more we let go, the more we get back.

Structuring Your Day for Success

Success leaves clues, and one of the biggest is a solid morning routine. For Connor Boyack, that means starting his day with intention—stretching, reading, writing, and exercise—all before diving into work. This structured start gives him clarity, focus, and the momentum to tackle his priorities.

Another key? Daily check-ins with his virtual assistant to align on the day’s tasks and ensure everything stays on track with his bigger quarterly and annual goals. That kind of accountability keeps him focused on what truly matters.

I love getting a behind-the-scenes look at how other entrepreneurs structure their days. While I might not follow Connor’s exact routine, I know that finding daily habits that work for me is a total game-changer for productivity.

Starting with Chapter One

Every success story starts with a single idea—one moment of what if? When Connor Boyack wrote the first Tuttle Twins book, he had no idea if anyone would be interested. But he started anyway.

So many people have a big idea—something they dream of creating—but fear holds them back. The truth? It has never been easier to launch that business, self-publish that book, or turn that side hustle into something real. The barriers are lower than ever, and the middlemen? They’re disappearing.

If it still feels impossible, that’s just your mindset getting in the way. Somewhere right now, a guy in his garage is building a supersonic jet—literally. If he can build a plane from scratch, you can take the first step toward your big idea. The key? Start with Chapter One.

The Power of Starting Small and Thinking Big

It’s easy to look at someone with major influence or success and think, I could never do that. But here’s the truth: everyone starts somewhere. Every expert was once a beginner. Every bestselling author once stared at a blank page. It’s all about accumulating experience—because the more you do something, the better you get, and the greater impact you can make.

And let’s talk about mindset for a second. The way you speak to yourself matters. If you’re constantly looking for what’s wrong, that’s all you’ll see. But if you train yourself to focus on the good, suddenly, that’s what you’ll start attracting.

Think of your brain like a computer—your hardware is powerful, but the real magic is in the software. Your beliefs, your thoughts, your identity—those are what determine how well your system runs. So ask yourself: Are you programming yourself for success? Or are you letting doubt and negativity slow you down? If you want to be a writer, an entrepreneur, a leader—start identifying as one. When that belief becomes part of who you are, everything starts to shift.

Habit Stacking For Success

If you’ve ever wanted to build a new habit but struggled to make it stick, here’s a little secret: the easiest way to create new habits is to attach them to ones you already have.

Think about it—brushing your teeth? Automatic. So why not use that moment to remind yourself to take your vitamins? If you’re already in the habit of making coffee each morning, stack a quick journaling session on top of it.

Connor figured this out in a way that totally transformed his routine. He didn’t love going to the gym, so instead of forcing himself into a habit that didn’t feel natural, he found a workaround. He got a small treadmill for his standing desk, and now? He walks 20,000 steps a day without even thinking about it.

The key? Stop overcomplicating. The habits that stick are the ones that fit into your life—not the ones that require you to completely rearrange everything. Always be looking for ways to simplify, streamline, and make your success inevitable.

Key Takeaways

  1. Mission-Driven Work Fuels Productivity: When your work aligns with your purpose, it becomes easier to stay motivated and focused.
  2. Delegate and Empower Your Team: Letting go of perfectionism and allowing others to step up leads to long-term success.
  3. Structure Your Day for Clarity: Start your day with intentional habits and prioritize effectively.
  4. Start Where You Are—Everyone Begins at Chapter One – Every expert was once a beginner, and the key is to keep taking small, consistent steps forward.
  5. Your Mindset and Identity Shape Your Success – The way you talk to yourself matters. If you focus on what’s wrong, you’ll find more negativity. But if you shift your mindset and identify as the person you want to become—whether that’s a writer, entrepreneur, or leader—you’ll naturally start taking actions that align with that identity.
  6. Stack Your Habits to Make Growth Effortless – The best way to build new habits is to attach them to ones you already do. Instead of forcing massive changes, find ways to integrate small, powerful habits into your daily routine, making success feel natural instead of forced.

Connor’s approach to balancing busy isn’t about doing it all—it’s about doing what matters most, empowering others to help along the way, and making sure you’ve got a winning mindset paired with winning habits.
