Case Study…How her sales doubled

As I went through all of it, explained my whole in-person ordering process she just kept saying; “I think it’s fine for you, but it won’t work for me.”

“WHY??!!?” I’d ask her and then I would carefully try to help her work through each concern. But she was skeptical, oh so skeptical and I kept trying to reassure her that this was possible! That my market is every bit as saturated as hers… I did my best to breakdown every barrier that she was sure stood between her and her order goals. In her mind she was seeing blockades made of solid brick but to me they were feathers! And with one big poof I knew we could blow them over!

I knew she could reach her sales goals… I just knew it!

We finished up our consult, she had an ordering appointment Friday morning (in two days). I gave her a list and made her promise she would try the things we’d talked about… And that she had to let me know how it went as soon as she could get to her computer!

THIS EMAIL JUST CAME IN AFTER HER FIRST POST ORDERING APPOINTMENT…

Hey Leah!!  So I had the order session this morning.  Not sure if it is a good one to judge on because it was based on my old pricing and she had already seen the photos online….  So she came to the appointment already knowing what she wanted.  But, I still went ahead and showed her a slideshow and she started talking first. (I’ll be explaining that little trick at the Web Event!) She said she loved the photos and already had picked out her favorites from the online gallery.  So I (insert the steps that I told her to do and that you’ll learn at the Web Event)

Her order was this….cd of all images and 6 gift prints for a total of $420.00.  Even though that isn’t the biggest sale in the world, it is more than before, only $200 so that is a step in the right direction!! 🙂

She hasn’t changed anything about her pricing YET, the only thing she did was implement some suggestions I offered to use in her next ordering appointment and she more than DOUBLED her previous orders!!

YOU MORE THEN DOUBLED…. DOUBLED your previous orders!! I told you, I told you, I told you! … YOU ARE WORTH IT!! And this is on a shoot that you

a) thought was terrible,

b) she’d already seen all the images and

c) had your old pricing and it still more than doubled!!!!

You did great! I hope you are absolutely beaming today and know now that you can do this! Your goals are not ridiculous they’re reachable… Very very reachable!
