A Love Letter To The Unsure and Unsatisfied Woman (Ep 33)

LISTEN ON YOUR FAVE PLATFORM: Apple // Audible  // Google

Today’s episode is a love letter to the unsatisfied and unsure. To the woman who maybe feels like she should be happy and yet isn’t. AND she isn’t even sure why. That was me.

I was going through an old inbox from years and years ago and I came across a letter I had written and shared as a blog post. It was a love letter to myself, trying to figure out how to be content, how to be happy, what was wrong with me, and why I wasn’t feeling all those things when everything looked like it should be so great.

Finding the letter reminded me of where I was and that you might be in that place now. This is my love letter to you.

In this episode:

2:21 Who Cares How Fast You’re Going If You’re Going in the Wrong Direction
5:40 I Had It All, And Yet…..
10:52 My Most Important Role
14:10 God Is In Control and His Plan is Better Than Mine

Everything looked great on the outside, but I wasn’t feeling that way. I felt angry at myself for not feeling happy.

This one is raw it’s real and it’s vulnerable. You can listen on the podcast: this is me sharing where I started and how I ended up here today.

I was about to sell my business. I was literally there to make the deal when it all fell through. What I realized was that I was meant to be running my business, but with a new outlook. Today I am more excited than ever for the future of Leah Remillet. I have been blessed to run some incredibly successful business ventures: photography, coaching, online training, and speaking. I have experienced the highs of growth milestones and being recognized for my work and the lows of being out of balance, losing my purpose, feeling discontent, and having to face what life throws at us through it all.

Who am I? I am Leah. I am a mom and wife before anything else. I love and live my religion. I am beyond grateful to be a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a small business owner who lights up at the opportunity to teach creatives to produce curiously simplified success.

I have tried to learn from all the highs and lows so that I can teach female entrepreneurs how to not only survive, but to thrive. In order to live the life that lights you up, we must start by knowing our core purpose. Who are we now, who will we become, and what are our non-negotiables?

I have three Cs for living your best life. We are meant to be creative and problem-solve. And even though each journey is personal and different, we can still connect, make an impact, and follow our dreams together.

I hope this episode has inspired you and helped you to know that you are not alone. Thank you for being part of the Balancing Busy Podcast.
