After all the comments and questions when I shared my camera bag on Instagram, I thought it would be fun to show you inside my own camera bag today! But I get the first thing I need to admit is that my camera bag isn’t technically a camera bag at all. I’m using the ONA Roma Camera Bag Insert to turn any bag into my camera bag.
I’m constantly seeing gorgeous handbags that I think would make great camera bags, if only they had the protection I need for my gear! Well… With the insert bag, I was able to turn this gorgeous green Valentina Handbag (here’s one I found on ebay) into my current camera bag. I’m also loving my Nicole Berlowski Sequin Camera Strap that I have on my Canon 5D Mark III!
So the BIG questions was, who is my camera bag by. Well, actually I’m using the ONA Roma Camera Bag Insert to turn any bag into my camera bag. and for the second Big question, my gold glittery camera strap (thanks for loving it too!) is by Nicole Berlowski!

I have the Ona bag insert as well and I love it! Now I can have a “new” camera bag more often! Lol

Not at all! The inside is lined with a softer linen fabric so I don’t even feel the sequins. 😀
I have the same reflector and love it! However, I find it really hard to use while shooting if I don’t have an assistant. Can you offer any tips on using a large reflector or do you use an assistant?
I don’t use an assistant! I will use other people at the shoot — if it’s a Senior, her mom, if it’s a family, one of the kids or some pretty awesome ninja tricks to use my leg and one arm to hold it in place while I shoot with the other. No doubt I look ridiculous but it does the job when I don’t have anyone else’s hands to help! Hope that helps a little! 😀
