Decorating Kid’s Rooms with Photography

This post is the first of a series ‘Decorating with Photography!’ I’m really excited about these posts because as photographers we all love the idea of our work being our client’s art! And when we have ideas, we can share those with clients. So here is the first of the series… Decorating Kid’s Rooms with Photography! If you want to start seeing your art on walls… I would suggest that you start with your own walls and blog about it! Offer to do the same for really close friends who happen to be great at decorating and BLOG about it! Start showing your clients what you want them to do… Often all they’re actually lacking is some inspiration!

I actually framed my big ones (3) drawings of us. Yes, he gave me a pig nose, but it’s adorable and he was so proud when I put them up 🙂

Just saw these posters today and I can’t wait to try them for my kids rooms. Maybe a few other rooms as well. I’m still thinking over it.

That site is awesome! I just looked all around and wow! Super cool! I saw some things I’d like to try for special client gifts!

It really is! I was drooling and their prices aren’t too bad either. Since they are in Beta mode I am wondering if they will come out with a few more options for photo books (for my personal use) and if the prices will change. That is a site I will be watching.

I LOVE this! I will keep watching. I have some photos waiting to decorate in the bathroom. Just need the money I have so many Ideas for my staircase and livingroom. Can’t wait to see more on this 🙂

  4. Love it! You must have read my mind. I was going to start doing a similar thing on my blog. As always, you are 1 step ahead! I love the pictures. Always so cute and inspiring. Thanks!!!

  5. Leah, I LOVE this idea! I always have clients wondering what to do with their images and this is a great idea to give them inspiration. I’m totally going to try and blog about this for my clients. Thank you for the inspiration! 🙂

I am so thankful for this one and looking forward to the rest. I have been going back and forth on canvases etc. for my home for over a year. I have some great shots, but just can’t seem to decide where and how I want them. Especially in the dining room and living room. I would also love to show my clients how to use them and what sizes really make sense. Our homes in North Texas are very large and very open, small prints tend to be dwarfed more than usual in our spaces.

Very cool post! I love seeing how people decorate with photographs, especially big ones. I ordered 16X24 and 20X30’s to put on my wall, and I love them!! I have wanted to do something in my kids’ rooms, so this is really inspiring. Thanks!
