    ~ Jenn

  5. Cally Olson says:

Other then the sales appointment, and pricing, the next biggest thing I would want to know about is generating the right clients.

  7. Kim says:

  9. Cortney says:

in person sales! I have no idea how to even get to that point, much less how to run through it all.

  10. Marcie says:

I’m excited to learn more! I’ve finally found my voice and my style in photography … and now I just need to make real money πŸ˜‰ haha. My favorite part of Go4Pro really is the talk about pricing and business details — because those are the things most industry pros don’t want to share πŸ™‚ Thanks! (My husband was glued to your pricing videos w/me .. we’re working on a plan to raise the prices together!)

  11. jackie says:

would LOVE the coaching, and I need it too. pretty please? =)

  12. Alison says:

You have no idea how happy I am to hear this! I have the wheels turning slowly and I love your ideas, coaching and encouragement you share here on the blog! Anything and everything you share about marketing is so helpful!

  13. Lori M. says:

I love everything you share about ordering appointments!! πŸ™‚

  14. Lyna says:

I love all the advice and tips you share but I think my favorite thing is that you are real about life. Being a mom, chasing after this thing called organization amidst all the busy-ness and so forth. It’s so refreshing to hear that I’m “normal”. Thanks for sharing:)

  15. I love seeing all your makeovers for businesses and how they are succeeding due to all the hard work!

  16. Sherri Abrams says:

I Love everything about go 4 pro, and is looking forward to working with go 4 pro in the near future!!! keep being awesome!:)

  17. My favorite thing to see on Go4Pro is the videos! I love that I get to see your personality in action and I LOVE that you actually respond to comment on your FB page. I’ll always be a loyal fan….even if I don’t win! haha! πŸ™‚

  18. Lorie V. says:

What I would not give for a little one-on-one time…. My favorite part of Go{4}Pro has to be the photographs, so beautiful. Plus the inspiration. Okay that is two things but I just love Go{4}Pro!!

  19. I love all of your creative ideas for driving new business and just how willing to share you are. It says volumes about who you are and your character and I have learned so much from reading your blog!

  20. Michelle Hrin says:

What I LOVE the most, the encouragement that comes from you!

  21. Sara J says:

Would love to hear about how to use Facebook to generate business. Thanks for all you do, Leah!

  22. Christine says:

so excited to learn more about marketing. You are amazing !!

  23. Hannah says:

I love seeing all the excellent business advice here. I’m looking forward to all the goodness to come.

  24. Wow, a coaching session would be awesome. I love your site as my “random bits of wisdom” for my photography business. Just in the process of starting my business with my daughter. So much to do!

  25. Kym Boswell says:

Ok so I LOVE everything about Go 4 Pro, but what I love the most is all the time/effort/blood/sweat/tears that you put into this blog…when you don’t have to. If it weren’t for that we wouldn’t have posts like “Stop and Create” for instance. It’s those types of post that give newbies like myself encouragement, and help us not to get lost and overwhelmed. Thanks for everything Leah-mazing!!!

  26. Yana K says:

Hmmm what I love about go(4)pro… way too much! But if I had to zero in on something, it would definitely be the way you approach each topic and make it sound a lot more attainable than how it sounds in my mind! So encouragement for sure.

  27. Jill E. says:

i love how open and honest you are with what you have learned about pricing and marketing.

  28. Dani C says:

What I like most about the site is that when I read it, it makes me come away knowing that I have to put more time and effort to make my business a true “business” instead of just a way to make the rent for the month. I feel like in the area I live, I have to sell myself short just to compete, but when I read your posts, I get a glimpse of what time and confidence could do to my business. I’ll be relocating 1,000 miles away from home at the end of the month for my husband to go to grad school, and having to start all over is KILLING me! But it’s also giving me a fresh start to really invest into my business. Thanks for everything you share!

  29. Kim Larsen says:

I came here originally for the business and marketing ideas you share, but I have stuck around because of your encouragement and enthusiasm! I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to go to your workshop last August, and it is because of you that I have finally finished completely redoing my website & branding and totally re-vamped my price list (which included a HUGE price increase compared to what I was at). If it wasn’t for your advice and encouragement, I would still be stuck in my old business model making no profit. Now, I just have to get some clients who are willing to accept my new prices! πŸ™‚ It’s only been about 1 1/2 months since I changed my prices, so I’m not getting too anxious yet, but they better start calling soon! πŸ™‚

  30. Clair says:

oh Leah, we need to talk… lol. i am looking for advice on getting new clients after raising prices– breaking into a circle of people with whom I’m not familiar. i love lots of things about Go4Pro, but I especially like that you keep it real! It is encouraging to know that we all struggle with balancing issues, etc and I love what a cheerleader you!

  31. Sarah says:

I really enjoyed your video on how to raise prices!

  32. Victoria says:

I love your videos where you talk about your personal business growth and how you did it. It’s easier to feel connected with a face rather than text. You always end a post with words of encouragement as well. πŸ˜‰ I would love 30 minutes to talk business with you πŸ™‚ Obviously you’re doing something right!

  33. My favorite thing is that you take subjects that otherwise might be frustrating and unintentionally complicated and make them easily understandable and simple.

  34. Tara says:

I love all the tips that you give! They help TREMENDOUSLY!!! And you are so honest, and up front. Love it! Thank you SO much!!

  35. Kate Kerr says:

One thing that stands out to me is when you went to a seminar and everyone wanted their photo taken with the guy who spoke about photography, and you thought outside the box and asked him to take yours because the seminar was kind of on that subject. It stands out to me. πŸ™‚ Thanks for all that you share.

  36. Bridgette L says:

My favorite thing about reading the Go4Pro blog is the language you use and the way you just say it how it is. It’s so refreshing! I love the Inspire me interviews and your videos the most! πŸ™‚

  37. Thank you so much for this website. I took a webinar from you on marketing and you are great. You have an excellent way with people and you can tell how much you genuinely care about what you do. I am an Army wife struggling with starting my business because we have moved every year since we got married. Your site has been a constant inspiration to me and has really helped me think of things in a different way!

  38. Leah- You know I love everything! My favorite posts are the ones that help out with the money side of things. I think my favorite post ever was the one about building a business on a budget. That came at the right time for me and helped me out a ton. And I love seeing the branding inspirations and the cool new logo’s you design. You really are talented at what you do and it is rare that someone share this much knowledge with the rest of the world.
PS- you need to have another workshop. It was fantastic and I know that so many people would benefit from it!!

  39. Susan Dixon says:

I love to see articles that contain tips on a specific topic. It’s great to see a variety of different subjects. Thanks for hosting this contest!

  40. The thing I love is the intelligence and insight you share! I’d love to learn more about how to deal with difficult clients!
    Thanks πŸ˜€

  41. Amy M says:

My favorite thing about G{4}P is how you are all or nothing!! Your willingness to share such valuable information and in such a GENUINE way is what makes me check this website every.single.night.
What *I* would like to see is……SPOUSAL INTERVIEWS. Maybe mini-interviews….of the hubby’s to the big photogs. You are insanely busy and clearly your family is priority!! I am always curious how hubbys feel about their successful photog wives and would love to hear tips FROM THEM on how we can make sure to not leave them on the sidelines πŸ™‚

  42. kip thulin says:

  43. I am really intrigued about these ordering appointments and how you do them. I photograph a lot of out of town people and would not know where to begin on that. Also I love to see more on branding and packaging. I know you have discussed it already but that is why it would be good to talk for 30 min!!

  44. My favorite things to read here are all the tips for how you make your photo experience the absolute best for your clients. I love seeing all the special little extras that you recommend!

  45. Love the tips and LOVE your encouragement. πŸ™‚

  46. Alisa says:

The business advice is great but what I like even more is your personal take on family and maintaining/growing a business at the same time.

  47. kelli taylor says:

Ooh, so many questions! Loved the info on raising prices. This isn’t a growing your biz question but it’s on the top of my mind right now. How do you deal with a client asking you to shoot poses or clothing that don’t fit your style at all? Do you just suck it up and do it or do you politely decline somehow????

  48. Erika C. says:

I just like learning how you operate your business all around. In regards to shooting, office organization, keeping track of things, work flow, accounting, session premiers, ordering, etc. I’ve been doing photography for two years and am taking the plunge next month into full time, so more infomation to prepare me the better! Thanks for all your effort into this blog!!

  49. Donna Boyle says:

I just love everything you share on this site. Your information always seems to come at the exact time I am looking into it! Your info is so easy to understand and follow. Love this site πŸ™‚

  50. Derek says:

I love everything on here. Thanks for the great resource!

  51. Stephanie Morin says:

Awesome!!! My favorite thing to read about is all of the advice & tips you give, so this is right up my alley πŸ™‚ THANK YOU for your wealth of knowledge and your generosity to share it with everyone!

  52. Maryrose says:

My favorite thing that I have seen on here was the article that you posted called “4p’s: Passion } so why can’t you?”…it was so inspiring. I carry it around with me every day! Thank you so much for that!

  53. Thanks! I love the positive vibe you bring to every post. Thank you for sharing!

  54. Jennie says:

Everything! The tips and inside, you have helped me just with your blog, I can imagine what you’d help me with a phone call!

  55. Melissa says:

I’m just expanding from a hobby to help friends and family to actually finding a clientele so I’m loving everything I’ve come across on this site. I love the videos since I’m more visual but I also like seeing the things that help a photographer become unique like you design work.

  56. Oh how fun! I would LOVE to win this!! I really enjoy everything about this blog! You always have so much great information to share, and in a way that is easy to read. AND even though I’ve not met you in person (yet) I feel like I know you. You have so much enthusiasm! =)

  57. Amanda says:

I love seeing your videos. I’m not much of a reader {outside of blogs} and I have a 20 month old so being able to watch a video keeps us BOTH entertained. He loves seeing anyone on the screen and calls all girls Katie {his baby sitters name} So yes, you were Katie!
Thanks for all your videos {and posts as well} we love them!

  58. Bree says:

    This would be awesome!!

  59. Becca Hall says:

I hope I win because something has got to change in my business if I am to keep going at it!

  63. Beja says:

My favorite part of your blog is realness. You share yourself. I’ll never forget the post of the senior who lost her life. Your tribute to her along with your candid sharing of real life problems you encounter in your business are exactly why I follow you.

  64. I love how you are able to break things down and make everything sound easier than previously thought and a lot more attainable. Reading about business tips has been one of the biggest things to help my business, and I’m so thankful you’re here sharing all this info! Thanks so much, Leah!
