Inspiration for Photography About Me Pages

The About Me Page is important…I think we all can appreciate and understand that! It’s one of the first pages you click on when you switch from glancing to engaged, but I think that it’s also one of the most challenging.

Talking about yourself…focusing the lens on you, instead of them…it can leave a lot of photographers feeling very uncomfortable and outright  insecure – and so they neglect this oh-so-important conversion page on their website. But no more!

Today’s I’m excited to showcase some fabulous about me pages from members of my business training program; The Thriving Photographer™. I hope they help spark your creativity!

About Me Video InspirationWhy I love it:

Megan’s about me page has it all! Beautiful photography, a call to action, fun facts and video!

Her about me page starts off with a beautiful and fun strip of images that instantly allow the viewer to connect with Meagan!

She goes on to share a combination of insights into her passions as a photographer as well as fun facts that help you further connect with her as a person.

And my favorite part… VIDEO! Meagan has created a beautiful video that not only allows the prospect to truly imagine what it would be like to be Meagan’s client but also immediately stirs an even deeper desire to make that happen…Soon!

Why I love it: Photogrpahy About Me Page Inspiration

Less is more in the case of Renee’s about me page!  Renee tells you exactly what you need to know including who she is, what she specializes in and how to reach her! Renee makes it easy to see that she’s excited to talk photography with her prospects!

The page is clean, fun and easy to digest. You get just enough of a taste to know you like Renee but she accomplishes the goal of every great writer, she leaves you wanting more.

I also love the consistency Renee maintains to her brand.

Getting in front of a camera is hard enough!  Getting in front of a camera with someone your intimidated by is more than most of us are willing to undertake!

Megan’s about me page just makes you feel instantly at ease! I love all of the bite sized tidbits that help us to get to know her and feel confident that she’ll help you feel at ease in front of her lens.

I also love the combination of personal, professional and random facts that Megan shares through her about me page! By the time you’re done reading you can’t help but want to take this mommy out to lunch just to get to spend more time with her!

Dena McMullen

Why I love it: Great Photography About Me Page

She had me at hello!

Dena understands the art of simplicity. She’s broken down the text into small bite sized nuggets, provided a fun easy to digest visual that immediately helps us to connect with her  and even stayed true to her visual board by wearing a bright yellow dress in the same hue as the one she showcases.

The other thing Dena did right in a really big way is that she included her name! I can’t even tell you how often I go to a photography website and search for a name to no avail. If you’re photography business isn’t named after you, or if your name is hard to pronounce like mine (Leah Remillét), please help a sister out and give me a hint!

Thought behind my own photography about me pages:

Best Photogrpahy About Me Pages
For Leah Remillét Photography, I wanted to create two different about me pages that together would tell my story! Because I have a website and a blog, I thought it would be fun to create a more personal depiction on my blog while keeping  my website more polished and professional.

I look at it as if my website is my resume and my blog is my cover letter.

Since my blog is my personal outlet, the about me page is only about me with a focus on randomness. My website on the other hand features much more than just me, it also includes my incredible team, without which LRP couldn’t be what it is today!

    Megan Johns,

If you don’t already have a crew of weird people following you around wanting to be your BFF, then Ill consider myself lucky. I want you to be my new BFF.

    You are too cool, chick!

    BFF for life,
    Liz

P.S. Lets make a secret handshake….. or….. our own routine dance to Wilson Philips!

Elizabeth, I can’t believe I didn’t see your comment until just now! Maybe I’ll do my next self-portrait with my head in the sand. Any who… the only crew of weird people following me around wanting to be my BFFs are the same ones who constantly demand that I feed them, find paci’s, and turn on TV shows.

By the way I can do the handshake, but I might skip the dance routine! Ha Ha!
