I was doing a little shopping over at Urban Outfitters when I spotted these adorable shower curtains!
When I saw them, I said to myself, “Self, these would be such cute backdrops… Couldn’t you see using these for seniors or kiddos? And look at that price! You pay way more than that normally! I think you should try them!”
So, I decided I was on to something and ordered them! I’ll update you with a fun post once I get ’em and play around with them in the studio!

Oh Leah- you are so smart! Love it and can’t wait to try! Keep up your smartness please:)
Ha! Well, I’ll do my best!! 🙂 Thanks for making me feel so… Smart!
I have not done shower curtains before, but have done long table cloths…check into some of those too Leah!! 🙂
That’s funny Mary Beth! I was thinking about table clothes today and thinking I should go find some cool ones to use. Great advice!
Great ideas! I’ve seen some nice ones at Target also. I know Sarah Smith of Kent Smith Photography is big on using shower curtains and fabric as backgrounds.
I was thinking that I totally need to scope out Target next time I’m there! I’ve been using fabric forever but I’m excited to play around with table clothes and shower curtains. Makes my indulgent purchases seem to much more reasonable now! 😉
great idea! I love the ruffle one 🙂
I love the ruffles! This is a great idea! I can’t wait to try it out.
Me too! I’m hoping mine will arrive this week so that I can post them next week on Go4Pro!
So cool, love the first two. I obsessed with chevron and ruffles. Will have to order for myself. Thanks,
Paula
GENUIS! Absolutely genuis.

Love this idea. Would like to set-up backdrops for prom party. What do you put on the floor where the kids will stand? The girls will definitely want full shots of dress & shoes?
There are some great and inexpensive floor drops you can purchase, you could also see if you can buy remnants from a flooring store to put down. Hope that helps!
