Aim For Impossible

In can be hard to aim for impossible when you’ve been met by defeat in the past. Why would it be different this time? Is it worth the heartache if you’re wrong again?

But that’s when you have to dig deep. That when you have search inside you and find the instinct that pushes you to survive, that pushes you to take another step when you can’t imagine the end, that forces you to acknowledge that you don’t know what on the other side. Bottom line… You.don’t.know.

But you do know what’s on this side if you quit. More of the same.
You do know what on this side if you give up. More defeat.
You do know what’s on this side if you settle. Nothing better.

So knowing that. Knowing that while you can’t predict how this will play out if you keep going, you can predict what happens if you don’t. Nothing happens. You stay where you are.

You’re not meant for that. You’re meant for more.

How do I know that? Because we all are.

Because we are divinely created, not to settle but to strive. Not to surrender but to endure.

So when that icky voice that like’s to show up and block the sun asks you what makes you think you can…

Shout back. Yes! Shout it: You must have never taken the time to get to know me, what makes you think I can’t?
