What a ride! I spent hours you guys, HOURS preparing for these two minutes. Not to mention the earlier booked flight to SLC… Getting the worksheets blown up and ordered with a Salt Lake print shop, then finding out they didn’t have one of them ready – drove back the next day (round trip 2 hours, because I’d picked a place by the airport, which my hotel was not). Then there was deciding what to wear – I don’t even want to admit how much time that took. And if you were on either side of my hotel room Monday – you undoubtedly heard me practicing different answers and responses. ?

There was a part of me that wasn’t sure if I ever wanted anyone to see this, but in the end, I love sharing my learning process with you, plus I wasn’t quite as bad as I thought I’d be.

This wasn’t just The CEO Kid’s TV debut, it was mine as well. I wasn’t sure what to expect and yet somehow the glamorous version I imagined from the movies still didn’t prepare me. (Shocking, I know.) I tried to be as ready as I possibly could. Which can we just talk about how hard it is to “be ready” for something you’ve never experienced – it’s the worst!

And yet, it’s the best! Because it means we are alive! It means we are trying new things – stretching…growing.

And I did stretch and grow and I learned so much for the next one.

The opportunity was amazing and I learned so much! I’m so grateful to Salt Lake’s KUTV for giving me the opportunity to share about The CEO Kid.
